Monthly Porchetta Dinner

Our monthly porchetta dinners are held the third Wednesday of the month, starting @ 7:00pm., with the hall opening at 5 pm.  All seating is reserved through ex-Club President J. Sabatini, who can be emailed at:  amclubderby@gmail.com If your plans to attend change at the last minute, please call the club at 203-734-9849 and advise the bartender of the changes or call to check if there is room for additional seating.  The cost of admission is $30 which includes raffle tickets for door prizes.

Many attending bring their own “specialties” such as Italian meats & cheeses, hot peppers, Italian deserts and share these items among their guests.  Promptly at 7:00pm bread and wine are placed on the tables by our servers, with penne pasta and our fresh Marchegian sauce served family style in hot bowls to each table.  Pasta bowls are cleared and bowls of cold salad and hot porchetta are then served family style to each table.  Feel free to ask your server for any “seconds” of wine, bread, pasta, salad or porchetta.  Fresh Marchegian sauce is also available to take home by the quart price $7.00, as are any extra porchettas, just ask your server.

After dinner, the club room is open downstairs to those attending and is where dinner guests gather to socialize.  There are several large flat screen televisions for viewing and some guests choose to continue their evening with a game of setback.
